Since it was set up in 1984, The Turner Prize has become one of the best-known visual arts prizes. Each year, four artists are shortlisted, and the prize awarded for an outstanding exhibition or other presentation in the preceding year.
The Turner Prize 2016 exhibition showcases the work of the four nominees: Michael Dean, Anthea Hamilton, Helen Marten and Josephine Pryde.

The Turner Prize - My Bed - Netflix
My Bed is a work by the English artist Tracey Emin. First created in 1998, it was exhibited at the Tate Gallery in 1999 as one of the shortlisted works for the Turner Prize. It consisted of her bed with bedroom objects in an abject state, and gained much media attention. Although it did not win the prize, its notoriety has persisted.
